The National Standard Revision Seminar was recently held in Beijing

2019-10-15

In order to further improve the energy efficiency of electric motors and motor systems, promote technological progress and industry development of electric motors, and unleash the enormous potential of energy conservation and emission reduction in the industry. on May 17, 2019, the National Energy Infrastructure and Management Standardization Technical Committee organized a seminar in Beijing on the revision of the national standard "Energy Efficiency Limit Values and Energy Efficiency Grades for Electric Motors" and the formulation of the national standard "Energy Efficiency Evaluation Regulations for Electric Motor Systems". Discussed the main technical content and indicators of the standard. Leaders and experts from China Institute of Standardization, China Institute of Metrology, International Copper Industry Association, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China Electric Appliance Research Institute, and more than 30 representatives from enterprises such as National Explosion proof Product Quality Inspection Center, Shandong Provincial Quality Inspection Institute, and Fujian Provincial Quality Inspection Institute attended the meeting.

Experts and industry representatives fully affirmed the importance of revising and formulating the two standards. On the basis of connecting with IEC international standards, the scope of application, energy efficiency standard framework, technical requirements parameters, and corresponding indicators of motor energy efficiency standards were discussed, as well as the goals, scope of application, and boundary definition of motor system standards We have conducted in-depth discussions on the testing methods and evaluation levels in the technical requirements, and provided comprehensive opinions and suggestions.

The successful convening of this two standard seminar is an important link in connecting international standards, improving standard technical indicators, and closely integrating with market promotion. It effectively promotes the evaluation of energy efficiency and energy-saving transformation and upgrading during the operation of the motor system, and will provide strong support for expanding the international market, implementing energy conservation and emission reduction in the motor industry, and achieving industrial strength and green development.
